Years before we bought this house, a painter lived here. The cottage was a studio space. A weathered, hand-painted sign hung over the door for years.

It read: “A little house called Sanctuary.”

We want to share this sanctuary with you.

Amenities

Adult Swim: we love your kids, but this is a space for adults.
Quiet Time: please bring headphones if you’d like to listen to music, since Jamie works from home and Dashiell barks at every goddamn thing.
Hours: generally 9am to 6pm, at our discretion.
Time: stay as long as you like.
Frequency: if you’re here weekly, we may charge you rent.
Guests: three is the magic number, but you can ask for a special exception.
Pets: you can bring a dog if s/he plays with Dashiell.
Casita: you are welcome to use the facilities in the cottage.
Remote Access: you can use the space even when we’re not around.
